Bath bombs are a blend of baking soda and citric acid (to make the fizz and to soften the water) with sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (SLSA, a gentler surfactant than SLS that wont damage the skin). SLSA creates fun foam that turns into bubbles with a little bit of agitation. Swish with your hand or a whisk.
Water soluble colours tint the water for an extra bit of fun.
